TELEVISION & Web-series

Long-form/episodic "TV" might be my favorite medium. Below are programs I've mixed..

A YEAR IN SPACE (; WEBBY Winner/Emmy Nominated)

SOUND DESIGN, AUDIO POST, and MIX. I handled the sound design and mix for this 10 episode web-series. A Year In Space chronicles astronaut Scott Kelly's historic, yearlong mission aboard the International Space Station.

This series won multiple Webby Awards (2016/17) and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award (2016, Outstanding Short Form Nonfiction or Reality Series). The hour-long PBS Special derived from this series went on to win an Emmy Award in 2017 (News & Documentary Emmy Award in the Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary category)

Produced by Reel Peak Films for Red Border Films.

This was a dream gig for me. You can watch the episodes and get more info over at the Year In Space website.

Wyatt Cenac: Brooklyn (Netflix)

AUDIO POST and BROADCAST MIX. I mixed Wyatt Cenac's comedy special Brooklyn for Netlfix. In it, Wyatt jokes about an artisanal mayonnaise shoppe, which was actually just down the street from my apartment...though it is no longer open.

AUDIO POST and BROADCAST MIX. I mixed the seven episode series The Mask With Henrik Lundqvist for MSG, produced by Stick Figure Productions and Lineage Interactive.

The John McEnroe episode went on to win the "Sports: Interview/Discussion" Emmy Award at the NY Emmy Awards (March 2016).

{The And} (The Skin deep)

AUDIO POST. I mixed and edited dialogue for {The And}, an 'interactive documentary' and website, which won the New Approaches: Documentaries Emmy at the 36th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards (2015). I'm honored to be named on the award with the rest of the groundbreaking creative team at The Skin Deep.

The source material that initially launched the website was over 4 hours long (!), but a short excerpt called "Marcela and Rock" premiered in the Shorts Program at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.

Experience the full-length project at its website: {The And}. Or watch/read about "Marcel & Rock" via The New Yorker.

AUDIO POST and BROADCAST MIX. I mixed this half-hour MSG special wherein Clyde Frazier drives the viewer around New York City in his Rolls Royce, sharing anecdotes about life as a rookie ball player on the move, in the New York City of the 1970s.

The episode's premiere on MSG was part of a day-long block of Clyde Frazier programming, to celebrate his 70th birthday. It went on to pick up the "Nostalgia Program" Emmy Award at the NY Emmy Awards (March 2016).

AUDIO POST and BROADCAST MIX. I mixed this twelve-episode, animated web series directed by my friends Cold Ninja Films.
